M-CHECK

Automatic device for checking and measuring the residual moisture retained by the spray-dried product.

M-Check is installed directly on the transport belt at the spray dryer outlet and performs control cycles that can be set by the operator. During the control phase, a special sensor with patented technology is lowered and immersed in the flow of material in transit, detecting its average residual moisture value. At the end of the control cycle, M-Check performs automatic sensor cleaning. The detected moisture values are saved in a historical register and can be viewed and exported in .xls format. If the value falls outside the set tolerance, an appropriate alarm is signaled. The system allows multiple sensor calibrations depending on the material used, saving calibration coefficients in a dedicated database and thus allowing the operator to recall the material used without having to repeat calibration for each production change.
